MHR-SIR™ Susceptibility tests media

  • The rapid MHR-SIR media dedicated to the SirScan readers for a reporting of susceptibility tests results within 5 to 8 hours on a majority of bacteria with fast growth.

  • On the Sirscan2000 Automatic, the reading is continuous every 1/2 hours until obtaining the final result. In the event of weak growth or special results, a reading at 18 hours is always available.

Inoclic™ Rapid preparation of standardized inocula 

  • Preparation of a standardized inoculum from one or several colonies.

  • Simple and fast, INOCLIC avoids measurement McFarland for the preparation of inocula Achieving equivalent 0.5 McFarland suspension or 0.5 McF diluted 1:10 Inoclic has been validated to perform the spotting of mass spectrometry identification and suspension for disk diffusion antibiogram, from the same colony.

  • For the detection of Staphylococcus aureus glycopeptides diminushed susceptibilities.

  • Glycopeptides resistances for staphylococcus aureus becomes a major stake of public health. These bacteria start to spread in health establishments.

  • No routine method is able to detect with reliability these bacteria. For this reason, i2a has developed the MH-GiSa medium, which allows to detect these organisms by simple handling.
